Call for IEEE GRSS Young Professionals Funding
The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Young Professionals are excited to present the Young Professionals Fund Young Professionals program.
The objective of this call is to inspire and support new initiatives, programs, and activities at the local level that actively engage the Young Professionals community. These events or programs can encompass technical and non-technical aspects.
We are offering financial and technical assistance to GRSS chapters to organize local activities aligned with the Young Professionals’ goals and objectives.
How to participate?
If your GRSS chapter is eager to embrace this challenge and secure funding to host a Young Professionals focus event, simply make your application by filling out this form. The application window will be open throughout the year so there is no deadline for submitting the application. However, the applications will be evaluated based on the goals, agenda, budget and feasibility. Collaborations with other IEEE organizational units, universities, research centers and industry are highly encouraged. The funding is available at different levels so please make sure a justified budget is available on the application package.
After careful consideration, the YP team will get in touch with you. After the successful completion of the event, a report should be submitted.
