SPEAKER’S BIO:

Dr. Min Chen is an Assistant Professor in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Previously he was a Research Scientist with the Joint Global Change Research Institute at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research interests include studying the impacts of global change and how we should respond to this critical challenge. He uses mechanistic/empirical models and a variety of remote sensing data in his research. He received his Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Science from Purdue University in 2013.
