We are pleased to invite you to our 1st DESIS User Workshop that will be held from Tuesday, 29th of September to Friday, 1st of October 2021. Workshop attendance is free, open and fully online.
More than 50 scientific teams are already working with DESIS data. With this workshop, we would like to provide a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange related to spaceborne imaging spectroscopy with a focus on DESIS mounted on MUSES/ISS. We would like to get a feedback on your first experiences working with DESIS data.
The workshop topics comprise mission-specific aspects, calibration and validation issues, data transformation, physical-based and learning methods, applications and service development. In July, we will kindly ask you to submit a short abstract (max. 2 pages) summarizing your DESIS study on simulated or real spaceborne imaging spectroscopy or related topics.
Webpage open: (approximately) April 1st, 2021
Abstract Submission: July 1st – July 23rd, 2021
Conference: September 29th – October 1st, 2021
Further information and access to the workshop webpage coming soon …
We look forward to meeting you online this fall!
