The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Magazine Editor-in-Chief position is open.
The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Magazine (GRSM) seeks an exceptional Editor-in-Chief. The successful candidate will take over Prof. Paolo Gamba’s outstanding leadership on 1 August 2024.
The process consists of the following steps:
1- Candidates prepare the application package (templates and instructions here vuw-my.sharepoint.com/:p:/g/personal/freryac_staff_vuw_ac_nz/EQm3iN0tHblJm3hBRk-…) and submit it by email to a.c.frery@ieee.org and valdez.p@ieee.org until 30 April 2024. The package consists of:
1.1 A single slide
1.2 A three-page curriculum vitae
1.3 An itemised vision and background statement
2- The VP of Publications checks the submitted application packages
3- The GRSS EiC Selection Committee prepares a summary report and a shortlist
4- The VP of Publications presents the candidates, the summary report, and the shortlist to the AdCom in July 2024
5- Voting AdCom members select the Editor-in-Chief.
