GRSS Special Stream on Machine Intelligence for GeoAnalytics and Remote Sensing (MIGARS)
The IEEE GRSS community is advancing research on machine intelligence applications for geoanalytics and remote sensing (MIGARS) through an annual international conference. MIGARS explores the intersection of machine intelligence (MI), geoscience, geo-analytics (GA), and remote sensing (RS). After successful editions in 2023 (Hyderabad, India) and 2024 (Wellington, New Zealand), it continues to connect researchers across disciplines like AI, engineering, remote sensing, and geosciences. With over 370 delegates and 334 research papers submitted globally, 117 high-quality papers were published in IEEE Xplore. This Special Stream provides an opportunity for authors to expand on their contributions and publish more comprehensive results.
Submissions to this IEEE GRSL Special Stream should be extended versions of papers already published in the MIGARS Proceedings on IEEE Xplore. In the cover letter, please include the corresponding paper ID from MIGARS 2023 or MIGARS 2024.
