New Progress in Regional Cooperation! 2026 IEEE GRSS China Student Chapter Chair Meeting Forges Initial Regional Collaboration Network
The 2026 IEEE GRSS China Student Chapter Chair Meeting took place in Chengdu, China, on May 23–24, 2026, hosted by the IEEE GRSS student branch chapter at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). Chapter representatives gathered to discuss the key agenda, including joint chapter activities, new student chapter cultivation, and standardized volunteer training. A pivotal initiative, the China Regional Student Chapter Collaboration Network, was formally proposed at the meeting. Hanwen Yu, GRSS AdCom Voting Member, will serve as the liaison for the network to strengthen cross-chapter cooperation and resource sharing among GRSS student chapters across China.
