Highlights from 2024 IEEE GRSS IFT-MIRS TC Joint Summer School hosted by MLA GRSS Chapter
The 2024 IEEE GRSS IFT-MIRS TC Joint Summer School hosted by Metro LA/Coastal LA Joint GRSS Chapter was successfully held at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, on October 4-5, 2024.
The school featured four lectures: Radar Interferometry (Dr. Scott Hensley), Modeling in Remote Sensing (Mr. Kazem Bakian Dogaheh), Space-Based Remote Sensing Missions (Mr. Kevin Romero), and Remote Sensing for Disaster Management and Response (Dr. Latha Baskaran). Additionally, two special lectures on radar communications were delivered by GRSS Distinguished Lecturer Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra.
The attendees included students and young professionals (YPs) from the local community (Metro LA /Coastal LA Joint GRSS Chapter) as well as from other IEEE sections and regions.
