A GRSL special stream – 2018

This special stream is oriented to bring together researchers from the pattern recognition, computer vision, image processing and remote sensing fields to present advances on the development of pattern and image analysis for interpretation of remote sensing images. Possible topics are, but not restricted to: image processing, low-level feature extraction, segmentation, classification, deep learning, multimodal and multiview methods, multisensor fusion, 3D reconstruction from aerial images, dataset creation and evaluation methodologies.
Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts submitted to SIBGRAPI 2018 Special Stream on Pattern Recognition and Image Processing for Geoscience and Remote Sensing must be in English;
By submitting a manuscript to the alternative track of SIBGRAPI for this Special Stream, authors acknowledge that it has not been previously published or accepted for publication in substantially similar form in any peer-reviewed venue including journal and conference;
No paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another conference, journal or workshop during the review period;
An author submitting an extended version of a paper to another journal needs to ensure that the paper does not violate any copyright with IEEE;
There will be voluntary page charges of $110/page assessed for the first 3 pages. For GRSS members there is a $200/page mandatory page charge for pages 4 and 5. For non-GRSS members there is a $230/page mandatory page charge for pages 4 and 5. Papers longer than 5 printed pages will not be published in GRSL.
