GRSS Special Stream of the Machine Learning for Remote Sensing (ML4RS) workshop at ICLR 2026
This Special Stream invites the accepted remote sensing-leaning papers from the Machine Learning for Remote Sensing (ML4RS) Workshop that took place in conjunction with the International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR) on April 27th, 2026. It aims to acknowledge and publish the highest-quality contributions of the workshop in a proceedings-related format to make the research results accessible beyond the workshop itself.

- Domain adaptation, concept drift, out-of-distribution detection
- Evaluation with unlabeled data
- Model design
- Semi-, unsupervised, and self-supervised learning
- Multi-fidelity fusion
- Federated learning
- Data-centric approaches
- Human-in-the-loop and active learning
- Time series analysis
- Learning from limited labels (e.g., few-shot, meta-learning)
- New benchmarks
- Considerations of geographic equity and fairness.
- Applications addressing sustainability, societal needs, planetary exploration, agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, natural hazards, and other environmental challenges
