EVE (Earth Virtual Expert) is an open-source domain-specific large language model designed to democratize access to Earth Observation (EO) and Earth Science (ES) knowledge. This talk outlines EVE’s training pipeline, data compliance approach, performance benchmarks, and open-source contributions, including models, datasets, and legal compliance guides. We'll also share lessons from human evaluations, infrastructure challenges, and our roadmap toward an EO digital assistant.
In this lecture, we present results on the evaluation of multiparametric SAR data for different applications like soil moisture, agriculture, forestry, disaster management, landcover studies and lunar water ice detection.
This presentation will overview the feedback received and outline how CEOS is responding with the new CEOS-ARD Strategy.
Join us for an inspiring webinar: “How Volunteering Changed My Perspective on Life and Career.” Explore the impact andimportance of volunteering within today’s evolving professional landscape, and how it can transform both your life and career.
This talk will present research findings that underscore the need for localized adaptation measures, the complex relationship between urban form and the thermal environment, and the role of advanced remote sensing and modelling tools in supporting urban governance and climate resilience efforts.
