2025 IEEE GRSS 4th International Space-Based Lidar Remote Sensing Workshop will take place in Bozeman, Montana, USA 2-7 November 2025. Review the scientific requirements for space-based lidar measurements, and assess instrument synergies and maturity of lidar techniques to meet these requirements. Introduce upcoming space-based lidar missions and exchange views on results from existing and past missions. Discuss challenges and future roadmaps in lidar research and technology development. Discuss approaches to mitigate risks and costs and extend lifetime for space-based lidar instruments and missions. Identify synergies and ways to enhance space-based lidar missions through international cooperation among various space agencies and organizations.
