About the Program

Mentorship is a transformative experience that benefits both mentees and mentors, fostering professional growth and personal development. The Women Mentoring Women program, initiated by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS), aims to connect women at all stages of their careers in geosciences and remote sensing. Through structured mentor-mentee relationships, participants establish valuable connections, gain career guidance, and support each other in professional and academic challenges.

How Does It Work?

The program follows a structured mentorship model to ensure meaningful and productive engagements between mentors and mentees:

"If you're passionate about what you are studying and if you’ve found something that motivates you to wake up and go to class or go to the office every day, then stick with it. You are not alone. There are many initiatives that are waiting to support you. And find a woman that inspires you."
