The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Department of Geosciences invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the field of Remote Sensing.
This is a 9-month position to begin in September 2019. It includes a 4.5-month (1/2 time) teaching appointment (two classes per year) with the Department of Geosciences, College of Natural Science and Mathematics, as well as a 4.5-month (1/2 time) research appointment with UAF’s Geophysical Institute. There is the potential for up to 3-months summer salary dependent on external funding.
The successful candidate is expected to hold a PhD in the geosciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or a related discipline.
