About joining the Frequency Allocations in Remote Sensing Committee
Who is eligible for participation?
Membership in the FARS Technical committee shall be open to any member of the IEEE GRS Society. To become a member of the GRS Society, you need to indicate under New memberships, publications or products on your IEEE membership form the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Soc., which includes the Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing. The GRS society fee for 2002 is US$ 34.00. If you are already a member, make sure to renew your membership!

What does it cost you?
Participation to FARS is free in that it does not cost you any money. However, the committee functions well only if its members are actively involved. You may be asked to provide input or comments on matters related to the interests of FARS.
How?
It’s simple: let the chairperson know that you are interested in joining the FARS committee. He needs your name, IEEE membership number, affiliation, address, and e-mail. Indicate also your field of expertise. You will receive a confirmation. Please allow for one or two weeks for your data to be processed.
