Software Developer Lead

Our headquarters in Northridge, California is seeking a talented, motivated, software lead to develop cutting edge software solutions in the areas of remote sensing, signal and image processing algorithms, modeling and simulation, and/or data analysis and interpretation. The position requires a BS, MS, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, physical sciences, engineering, or closely related technical fields with minimum 7-10 years of software experience. Candidate will lead a small to medium software development team in developing complex object-oriented applications. Candidate must have extensive programming experience in C/C++ on Windows and/or UNIX platform. Experience with CMMi development processes, OpenGL/GPU computing or UNIX scripting languages a plus. Background in physical sciences and/or experience with sensor applications including EO/IR and radar also a plus. A current Secret or Top Secret security clearance is desirable. Other requirements include ability to lead a software team, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, and ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
